Ticket purchase terms

Effective September 11, 2026

These terms apply to ticket purchases made through a verified free SOCLUB membership. Ticket terms remain distinct from Marketplace goods and services terms.

1. Ticket purchase and eligibility

Tickets may be browsed publicly, but a verified free SOCLUB membership is required to purchase. You must provide accurate account and attendee information and be legally able to enter this agreement.

Each purchase is attached to the authenticated member account and appears in that member portal. A ticket purchase does not create marketing consent. Operational emails about the order, payment, event, safety, changes and refunds are part of the purchase service.

2. Order and payment

An order is confirmed only after successful payment and issuance of a confirmation or receipt. Prices, taxes, quantities and any fees are shown before payment. Payment processing is provided by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe's applicable terms.

SOCLUB may refuse, cancel or limit an order affected by pricing error, duplicate purchase, suspected fraud, payment risk, capacity limits, sanctions or legal requirements. If SOCLUB cancels a paid order without replacement, the amount collected for the cancelled ticket will be refunded.

3. Delivery and admission

Tickets and receipts are delivered electronically to the verified member email address and saved in the member portal. The member is responsible for protecting the account, private receipt link and ticket codes, and presenting the required ticket and identification at admission.

Each ticket or pass code may be used only as authorized. Copying, counterfeiting, reselling contrary to a stated restriction, or using a code fraudulently may result in cancellation or refusal of entry without limiting other remedies.

4. Event rules and conduct

  • Follow lawful venue, security, safety, accessibility, age, alcohol, bag, photography and conduct rules.
  • Comply with staff instructions and do not threaten, harass, discriminate against or endanger another person.
  • Bring valid government identification when age, identity or ticket ownership verification is required.
  • Do not bring prohibited items or use a ticket for unlawful, fraudulent or commercial activity without written permission.

5. Changes, postponement and cancellation

Event dates, times, programs, performers, speakers, seating, venues and admission procedures may change where reasonably necessary. SOCLUB will use the buyer email address for material service notices.

If an event is postponed, moved or materially changed, the remedy stated in the event-specific policy and any mandatory consumer law applies. If an event is cancelled and no replacement is offered, the ticket price and applicable refundable charges collected by SOCLUB will be refunded to the original payment method. Travel, accommodation and other third-party costs are not refundable by SOCLUB unless required by law.

6. Refunds and transfers

Tickets are non-refundable except where the event-specific terms, SOCLUB's written decision or applicable law provides otherwise. Approved refunds are returned through the payment provider and may take additional time to appear.

Transfer and resale are allowed only when expressly offered or authorized for the applicable event. SOCLUB may require updated attendee information and may void tickets sold through unauthorized channels where permitted by law.

7. Privacy and communications

The Privacy Policy explains how buyer, attendee, payment, device and transaction information is handled. SOCLUB and its service providers may use this information to process payment, prevent fraud, deliver tickets and receipts, operate admission, provide support, meet legal obligations and send essential event notices.

Marketing consent is separate and optional. Declining marketing does not prevent a ticket purchase or essential service communications.

8. Risk and responsibility

Attendance may involve crowds, travel, weather, amplified sound, lighting, food, alcohol and other ordinary event risks. Attendees must use reasonable care and follow safety instructions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOCLUB is not responsible for independent venues, performers, vendors or other attendees, or for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from attendance or inability to attend.

9. Ontario law and contact

These Terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law, subject to mandatory consumer rights and forums. Event-specific terms accepted at checkout form part of this agreement and control where they are more specific.

For ticket support, contact info@soclubgroup.com with the buyer email and order reference. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue.
